Programs that make you think, help you growYou don’t have to be a mental health professional to want to learn more about psychoanalytic thinking. The psychoanalytic perspective sheds light on art, music, literature and societal issues. At CPI, we offer a variety of educational programs and discussion groups that explore the workings of the human mind and ways in which psychoanalytic understanding helps us make sense of our everyday lives. We also have continuing education courses for mental health professionals and teachers on such topics as post traumatic stress disorder and brief psychotherapy. Continuing education credits are available for selected programs. If you are interested in learning more about our programs, please contact Mary VanAusdall at (513) 961-8886 The Association for Psychoanalytic ThoughtThe Association for Psychoanalytic Thought is an interdisciplinary group whose membership consists of individuals from the clinical, academic and general community brought together by a common interest in the psychoanalytic point of view. Founded in 1998, APT provides a forum where people can share this interest and deepen their knowledge of psychoanalysis as a perspective on the human experience. While a common vision fosters a close relationship between APT and CPI, the APT has its own executive board and forges its own approach to psychoanalytic understanding.
