Dr. Dionne Powell Presentations & Workshops March 10 & 11, 2017

Dionne R. Powell, MD is a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at The New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Powell has been deeply immersed in the teaching and supervision of psychoanalysis and psychiatry in her local community and nationally. Dr. Powell has a particular interest in examining the impact of race in the clinical situation and on the history of our field of psychoanalysis.

Friday, March 10, 2017, 2:00-4:00 pm – Mind in the context of race and culture
Saturday, March 11, 2017, 9:00 am-12:15 pm – Analytic vitality within a long term treatment [A clinical workshop for CPI’s faculty, analytic candidates, APP and CAPP psychotherapy students, and APP and CAPP graduates.]
