The Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute was pleased to host a talk on the evening of Friday, April 7 by David Lindy, MD, Clinical Director/Chief Psychiatrist of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York’s Community Mental Health Services, Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University, and Faculty member, Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training & Research. Dr. Lindy presented “Parachute NYC: A novel way of using talk therapy to treat seriously mentally ill people in their homes, or how a Finnish psychoanalyst taught me that psychoanalytic principles can be retrofitted for modern community mental health in New York City.”
