Applications being accepted for new CAPP class

We welcome applications for the new Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Program class that will begin in January of 2010.  CAPP is a two-year program consisting of weekly seminars for 32 weeks each year.  There are 4 1/2 class hours weekly, including a clinical conference and two didactic courses.  The didactic courses cover the topics of child therapy technique, development, and psychopathology. CAPP offers mental health practitioners the opportunity to deepen and broaden their skills in the areas of psychodynamic therapy with children, assessment, and collaborative work with parents.   Our goal is to provide an in-depth exposure to psychodynamic concepts and to translate these ideas into interventions that are useful for practitioners working in today's real-life clinical settings.
