CINCINNATI PSYCHOANALYTIC INSTITUTE

Our institute provides training programs in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with adults, children, and adolescents. We also provide a number of workshops, presentations, and seminar series that are of interest to clinicians, scholars, and others who have an interest in psychoanalytic ideas. Our offerings are available to interested persons from a wide geographical area, since we are experienced in the use of technology that facilitates distance learning.

CPI’s approach to psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy incorporates aspects of multiple theoretical perspectives. Our courses, seminars, and workshops draw on traditional as well as contemporary psychoanalytic thinking. Our goal is to convey these ideas in a way that is accessible and useful to persons who have various levels of previous exposure to this way of thinking.

CPI provides multi-session programs focused on:
·       psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adults
·       psychoanalytic psychotherapy with children and adolescents
·       adult psychoanalysis
·       child and adolescent psychoanalysis
